Wishlist Wednesday – Beauty Bag

Being the mom of a toddler means starting the day early, ending it late, and running constantly in between. I can’t remember when I last took the time to do more than throw on a little mascara running out the door. Here are a few picks on my wish list – and two in my bag! – from the beauty department. I need every little bit of help I can get!

What are your favorite/go-to products? Comment below!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer, Brightener, 0.2 fl. oz. I read about this under eye concealer and it’s been on my wishlist since. Because I don’t often wear makeup, I don’t want to spend a fortune on some luxury brand that won’t be half empty by the time it dries up. I’m not born with it, so I’ll turn to Maybelline for hiding the dark circles from the late nights.

TOCCA Cleopatra Crema da Mano Luxe-4 oz. this is supposed to be one of the most luxurious hand creams you can get. It may be a little bit of a splurge, but I’ll spend a little bit more for something that absorbs quickly. I wash my hands constantly throughout the day, and recently I’ve looked like my hands are about thirty years older than me because they’ve been so dry. I’ll be giving this cream a try!

Kevin Murphy Anti Gravity Spray 5.1 Fluid Ounce On the few occasions that I actually find time to blow dry my hair, I need help. My hair is super long and never fully recovered from the post-partum hair loss. Every other spray I’ve tried has left my hair sticky or crunchy, which is counter productive to looking like you’ve got healthy, beautiful hair. I ordered this a few days ago and can’t wait to see how it works!

Garnier SkinActive SPF 15 Face Moisturizer with Vitamin C, 2.5 fl. oz. This was on my wishlist for a while, and then I finally snagged a bottle of it for less than $3!!! I was grocery shopping with Alexandra and we visited the deep discount section where there were three bottles of this! The packaging was fine, and apparently, it just hadn’t sold well at our grocery store. Well, let me tell you, this stuff is AMAZING. It moisturizes without being heavy. It absorbs super quick which is a plus to me. I think my skin looks healthier and brighter in the few weeks I’ve been using it. Plus, no breakouts which I always dread when switching to a new product.

Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara, Black/Brown 03, .21 Oz. I’ve been using this mascara for years now and it’s the one I swear by. As a redhead, finding a great brown mascara is a goal for me. I actually have this mascara on my Amazon Subscribe and Save so that I never run out! It makes my lashes super long and they never clump. It stays put pretty well throughout the day (and yes, through tears). I’ve tried oodles of more expensive mascaras, but I always go back to this one.
