On September 28, 2010 my life changed unexpectedly. I lost my job (unplanned) and then a week later got married (very much planned… down to the last detail). Even more unexpected? My husband and I bought a house just about six months later.
Fast forward seven years later, and I’ve lost my job again, but this time there is a sixteen month old toddler in tow-totally new experience! So now, it’s about restoring the house, and restoring happiness to our lives.
I have learned that even without a job, you can have happiness. Restoring this house has become so much more than making it a showcase for our style. It has become a restoration of my whole life.
